How to File an RDC Appeal Plaint After a Dubai Rental Judgment
الأهم خلال 30 ثانية
Register an Appeal - Rental is the Dubai Rental Disputes Center service for an appeal plaint after a first-instance rental judgment. The card has no service form. Its first required document is the appeal plaint. Store that plaint on the tenancy the judgment decides, with the judgment itself and with the supporting notices named on the card. The later paper is an Appeal Judgment, issued after the hearing.
The first-instance rental judgment is already in hand, and the folder still holds the lawsuit upload. The missing paper is the appeal plaint on Register an Appeal - Rental at the Dubai Rental Disputes Center (RDC). That service has no form, and the plaint is its first required document. Keep that plaint with the judgment it challenges and with the supporting notices. The first-instance upload, the execution writ, and the conciliation agreement are other files.

The judgment is already in hand
Register an Appeal - Rental is its own line under Lawsuits on the services index, after Register First Instance Lawsuit (Rental). The English appeal card says the service lets a customer file an appeal against judgments and decisions of the First Instance Committees, and the same line also names the Execution Judge and the Provisional and Summary Actions Judge. The plaint to keep is the one against the first-instance rental judgment. There is no service form. The first required document is the appeal plaint.
The folder still holds the first-instance upload: the latest Ejari, Dubai's registered tenancy contract, an Emirates ID or a company licence, and a bank letter that mentions the plaintiff's IBAN, the international bank account number. That list belongs to Register First Instance Lawsuit (Rental). The first-instance card issues a First Instance Judgment. Filing that upload again is not the appeal plaint. Leave it on the first-instance lawsuit file.
A purely financial appeal and an eviction judgment are not treated the same way. That condition is set out in Decree No. (26) of 2013 and the English FAQ. The decree provides that judgments of the First Instance Division are appealed to the Appellate Division, and that judgments of the Appellate Division are final. The paper to keep is the plaint. After the hearing, the card issues an Appeal Judgment.
Keep the judgment and the notices with the plaint
The plaint challenges one judgment, on one tenancy. The English FAQ says that once a judgment is issued, the system sends a copy to the email addresses registered in the system, and a copy can also be acquired through the Rental Disputes Center website. That copy is the judgment the plaint challenges. The appeal card does not rename it as the plaint. Store the two together on the tenancy the judgment decides. A loose scan that names no unit is not the file.
The English card's second item is any document supporting the claim. The examples include correspondence, notices, penalties, electricity and water bills, cheques, and letters. The Arabic card for the same service names notices as well, and it also lists powers of attorney and the management contract among supporting examples. Keep the notices that support this appeal with the plaint. These are examples, not a form.
A notice kept here supports the appeal. It is not a notice drafted for this file, and it is not an unpaid-rent demand. A cheque named only as support is not File an Execution — Cheques. Each sheet is in Arabic or legally translated into Arabic, and it is uploaded on the Center's website in the section the system names. Hard copies are not accepted. The card also names Real Estate Services Trustees Centers.
The schedule stays on the live card
The English appeal card carries a fee schedule and a time limit. Those figures stay on the card. The FAQ's timing sentences are not the same as the card's. The live card already distinguishes a judgment issued in the party's presence from a judgment notified in the party's absence.
Leave the schedule and the other services off this set
Do not write a fee schedule, a dirham figure, a percent, or a day count into this file. The live English card for Register an Appeal - Rental is where the schedule and the time limit sit. The latest Ejari, the identity or company licence, and the plaintiff's IBAN letter stay on Register First Instance Lawsuit (Rental). The enforcement writ stays on Register an Execution Proceeding - Rental, and so does an appeal-deposit receipt if that card asks for it. A conversation about enforcement does not make the plaint an execution writ. The agreement or the waiver after conciliation stays on Register Dispute Lawsuit - Amicable Settlement. A grievance motion against a petition order or an offer-and-deposit decision belongs to Register a Grievance, not to this plaint. A notice kept with the plaint is support, not a new notice. An Abu Dhabi rental appeal sheet is another forum.
Register an Execution Proceeding - Rental enforces claims that have already been decided. On the execution card, the first required document is an enforcement writ with the enforcement stamp, and the issued document is an Enforcement Plaint. On the grievance card, the required papers are the decision and a motion plaint, and the issued document is a Grievance Judgment. The agreement or the waiver belongs on the conciliation file. If an enforcement file is opened because there is an agreement, that file is not this plaint. The Abu Dhabi rental appeal sheet is an Abu Dhabi Judicial Department form. Abu Dhabi Law No. (20) of 2006 places the lease-dispute committees under that department, not at the Dubai Rental Disputes Center.
Three papers on the tenancy
The table is the appeal plaint, the first-instance judgment it challenges, and the supporting notices. A charge and a time limit are not papers in this set. Ejari, identity, the IBAN letter, an appeal-deposit receipt, and the conciliation agreement stay on their own files.
Papers stored with the appeal plaint
| Paper | What stays with the tenancy |
|---|---|
| Appeal plaint | The first required document on Register an Appeal - Rental. The card publishes no service form. |
| First-instance judgment | The judgment the plaint challenges. The card does not rename that judgment as the plaint. |
| Supporting notices | Correspondence and notices named among supporting documents, kept with the plaint. |
Store the plaint, then stop
Name the tenancy, keep the three papers, and leave the other services where they already sit. The Appeal Judgment comes after the hearing. It is not one of these papers.
File the appeal plaint on the tenancy
Name the tenancy
The judgment decides one tenancy. Name that unit before the scan is saved. If the scan names no unit, stop. A loose scan is not the file.
Keep the appeal plaint
Keep the appeal plaint that challenges the first-instance rental judgment. On Register an Appeal - Rental, that plaint is the first required document, and there is no service form. If the paper is the first-instance upload, the execution writ, or the conciliation agreement, leave it on that file.
Put the judgment with the plaint
Add the judgment the plaint challenges. Use the copy sent to the registered email, or the copy from the RDC website. The card does not treat that judgment as the plaint.
Keep the supporting notices
Keep correspondence and notices with the plaint. The appeal card names them among supporting documents. A notice kept here supports the appeal. Do not draft a new notice, and do not treat an unpaid-rent demand as this plaint.
Leave the other services
Leave the Ejari, the identity or company licence, and the IBAN letter on the first-instance upload. Leave the enforcement writ, and any appeal-deposit receipt the execution card asks for, on the execution file. Leave the agreement or the waiver on the conciliation file. A grievance motion is a different service.
Leave the other routes
A decision of the Execution Judge, a provisional or summary decision, a writ of certiorari, a payment writ, and a substantial enforcement dispute are other routes. So is an Abu Dhabi Judicial Department rental appeal sheet.
Keep the sheets in Arabic
Keep each sheet in Arabic, or with a legal translation into Arabic. Upload it in the section the system names. The Center does not accept hard copies.
Store the set and stop
Store the appeal plaint, the first-instance judgment, and the supporting notices on the tenancy, then stop. The Appeal Judgment, issued after the hearing, is not part of this set.
Stop when the named tenancy holds the appeal plaint against the first-instance rental judgment, with that judgment and the supporting notices. Do not add a fee schedule, a dirham figure, a percent, or a day count. The live English service card is where that schedule sits.
If the paper is the first-instance upload, stop and leave it on the first-instance lawsuit file. If the paper is the execution writ, stop and leave it on Register an Execution Proceeding - Rental. If the paper is the conciliation agreement, stop and leave it on the conciliation file. The later issued document is an Appeal Judgment. Leave that paper until the Center issues it after the hearing.
IziRento can store the appeal plaint, the judgment, and the supporting notices on the tenancy. It does not file the appeal, translate the papers, or pay the Center. It is not a lawyer and not a party to the lease. Production identity documents stay out of the workspace.
Store the plaint on the tenancy
Keep the appeal plaint, the judgment, and the supporting notices with this tenancy. IziRento stores the copy and does not file the appeal.
