Security and data

IziRento is a pilot workspace. Paid plans are not available. The project status and the operator details are on the Legal Notice.

Who can open records

The application has separate areas for an owner, a manager and a tenant. An owner decides which people to invite and what those people can open: properties, leases, payment records, meter readings, bills, inspections and requests. A manager or a tenant sees the records that invitation allows.

Payments

Rent and other charges are records in the workspace. The application does not take rent by card, Open Banking or Direct Debit, and it does not include a payment-provider integration.

Where files go

Files kept by the workspace itself are stored with the application on the hosting listed on the Sub-processors page.

An owner can connect their own Dropbox account. Files sent through that connection are stored in that Dropbox account. The current application does not offer Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive as a document connection. Google, Apple and Microsoft can be used for sign-in, where that option is shown. Sign-in is not a document store.

Bills read automatically

If someone starts automatic reading of a bill or a payment slip, that step is described in the Privacy Notice and on the Sub-processors page. It runs only when that person starts it.

Privacy contact

[email protected] is the privacy and legal inbox named in the Legal Notice. It is not a customer-support desk.
