Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains how IziRento (https://izirento.com) uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements the Privacy Notice.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage and pixels. They help the site function, remember preferences and (if you allow) measure usage.

2. Categories and legal basis

We group cookies as follows:

  • Strictly necessary — authentication, security, routing, load balancing and remembering your consent choice. Used because necessary to provide the Service or for security; they cannot be disabled in our controls.
  • Preferences — language, region, theme, dismissed guidance and similar choices requested by you. These may use browser storage and support functionality you request.
  • Analytics and diagnostics — optional browser error/performance monitoring and aggregate usage measurement. Where consent is required, these load only after you allow analytics.
  • Marketing — advertising or cross-site campaign technologies. We do not currently deploy marketing trackers. If this changes, they will remain disabled until valid consent is obtained where required.

3. Technologies currently used

  • Auth.js / NextAuth session cookie (name may use __Secure- and/or __Host- prefixes) — strictly necessary; keeps an authenticated session; session or configured authentication lifetime; HttpOnly/Secure where applicable.
  • IZI_REGION — preference/necessary routing cookie; remembers selected market region; up to 365 days.
  • IZI_LANG — preference/necessary routing cookie; remembers interface language; up to 365 days.
  • mk_cookie_consent — localStorage; records consent version, choices and timestamp; up to 365 days before consent is requested again.
  • pos-ui-preferences — localStorage; remembers theme and interface preferences; until changed or browser storage is cleared.
  • mk_owner_guide_seen_v1 and izi_app_promo_dismissed_v1 — localStorage; prevents repeatedly showing dismissed guidance or promotion; until cleared or the relevant version changes.
  • IZI_SCROLL_RESTORE — sessionStorage; restores position during locale navigation; deleted when the browser tab/session ends.
  • Cloudflare security cookies (for example __cf_bm where Cloudflare determines they are needed) — strictly necessary bot/security controls; duration set by Cloudflare.
  • Sentry browser diagnostics — no advertising cookies; optional diagnostic requests may include device/request metadata after analytics consent where consent is required.

4. Managing preferences

4.1. On first visit you can reject optional technologies, accept all, or customise categories. Optional technology must not load before the required choice.

4.2. You can reopen Cookie Settings from the site footer and change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.

4.3. Browser settings can block or delete cookies and storage. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent login, localisation or security controls from working.

4.4. We ask again after 365 days, after a material change, or when the consent version changes.

5. Third parties and transfers

Cloudflare provides edge security. Sentry may provide optional diagnostics. Details and processing locations are on the Sub-processors page. We do not allow third-party advertising cookies during pre-launch.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browser Do Not Track is not a uniform legal signal. We do not currently Sell or Share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising. If that changes, we will honour legally required opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control and update this Notice.
