Acceptable Use Policy
Version 19.08.2026. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of the Terms of Service. It applies to every user, integration and automated process that accesses IziRento.
1. Lawful use only
You may use the Service only for lawful property and tenancy administration. You must comply with privacy, housing, anti-discrimination, consumer, employment, communications, intellectual-property and other laws that apply to you and your properties.
2. Prohibited content
- Content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, sexually exploitative or harmful to minors.
- Content you do not have the right or lawful basis to collect, upload, copy, disclose or process.
- Malware, malicious scripts, stolen credentials or material designed to compromise systems.
- Special-category, biometric, criminal-conviction or children's data unless strictly necessary, lawful and expressly supported by the Service.
- Payment-card data, online-banking credentials, authentication secrets or government identifiers in fields not expressly designed and secured for that data.
- Material that infringes copyright, database rights, confidentiality, privacy, publicity or other rights.
3. Prohibited conduct
- Accessing another account, property, lease or data without authorisation.
- Circumventing role restrictions, rate limits, geo restrictions, authentication or security controls.
- Scanning, probing, penetration testing or exploiting the Service without prior written permission.
- Reverse engineering except where a mandatory law expressly permits it.
- Scraping, harvesting, bulk exporting or training models on Service data without written permission and a lawful basis.
- Sending spam, unlawful marketing or communications without required consent.
- Using the Service to make unlawful housing decisions, discriminate against protected groups, harass tenants, conduct unlawful surveillance or facilitate eviction without due process.
- Submitting false payment, inspection, meter, identity or tenancy records.
- Overloading, disrupting or degrading the Service or third-party infrastructure.
- Reselling, sublicensing or providing bureau access unless your plan or written agreement permits it.
- Misrepresenting affiliation with us or suggesting that we approved a tenant, lease, payment, document or decision.
4. AI, OCR and automation
Do not submit data to AI/OCR features unless you have authority and a lawful basis. Do not rely on outputs without human verification. You may not use outputs to make a solely automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects for a tenant or applicant unless you independently satisfy all legal requirements.
5. Security duties
You must protect credentials, enable available security controls, keep devices reasonably secure, verify invite recipients, use least-privilege access, and notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect compromise or unauthorised disclosure.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and preserve relevant evidence. Depending on severity, we may warn, remove or restrict content, disable a connector, rate-limit, suspend or terminate access, or report conduct to authorities or affected parties where legally required. We are not obliged to pre-screen Customer Content and enforcement does not make us responsible for it.
7. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse, infringement or unlawful content to [email protected]. Include the relevant URL/account reference, a clear description, your authority to complain and supporting information. We may request verification before acting.
